Tayshia Adams may have met her match on “The Bachelorette.”

The 30-year-old is starting to make love connections on the ABC reality show after taking over as the leading lady from Clare Crawley, who dramatically left the show early after getting engaged to Dale Moss.

During her first cocktail party, Adams gave her highly-coveted first impression rose to Spencer Robertson.

Robertson was one of the four men added to the cast during week five.

A 30-year-old water treatment engineer from La Jolla, California, Adams called him “hot hot hot” when he got out of the limo. He played his cards close to the belt: when the other guys questioned how many newbies would be joining the pack, Robertson wouldn’t say. “How many of you guys were here for Clare?” he taunted.

“The one guy seems like he’s here just to be a d – – k,” said Kenny.

A true California boy, Robertson loves surfing.

“He’s super sweet, he’s super nice and he’s cute. He’s definitely a guy I would go after,” said Adams, after Robertson immediately pulled her away to chat.

She was quick to award him her first impression rose.

Though the first rose tends to be a telltale sign of a long relationship on the franchise, it may not play out that way for Adams: It’s rumored she ends up with Zac Clark instead.
