Christmas came early for Jonas Brothers fans.

The band of brothers released a nostalgic-dripped Christmas ballad Thursday, “I Need You Christmas,” the lyrics of which celebrate the kind of joy 2020 could really use right now.

“Seasons change, come and go/But there’s one thing I know/You’ll just stay the same,” the brothers sing of the holiday. “You don’t ever change.”

“With having such a crazy year, we all really need something to look forward to,” Joe, Nick and Kevin posted on Instagram with pictures of them as kids around a Christmas tree.

“The Holidays is a time that brings us together and is something that brings us joy in the darkest of times.

“For us, this song stirs up memories of childhood snowball fights and finding the nearest hill to sled. It brings us back to spending time with family setting up the Christmas tree. Hopefully it can bring you guys the same feelings of warmth and happiness that creating it has brought us. We love you guys very much!”

They weren’t the only boy band members to drop a Christmas song this week. Former One Directioner Liam Payne teamed up with TikTok star Dixie D’Amelio on the frisky new holiday bop “Naughty List.”

Payne’s pop song couldn’t be more different from the Jonas Bros’ classic-sounding ballad, the release of which came with old family photos, as the musicians celebrate this year with their own wives and families. Joe, 31, is married to “Game of Thrones” star Sophie Turner. The two welcomed their first child, Willa, in July. Nick, 28 has wife Priyanka Chopra, and Kevin, 32, has long been married to Danielle Jonas. The two have two kids, Valentina and Alena.

For fans of the Jonas squad, holiday songs are becoming a tradition. Last year, they released “Like It’s Christmas.”
