A diamond isn’t required to get caught up in the drama on “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

Brandi Glanville claimed that Heather Locklear reached out to lend her support amid her alleged tryst with Denise Richards — but she couldn’t defend her publicly because Richards, 49, allegedly sent her a cease and desist letter.

Richards came under fire for allegedly sending cease and desist letters to production company Evolution, Bravo and cast members to prevent them from speaking about and airing footage regarding her relationship with Glanville.

During an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” Wednesday, Glanville shared that Locklear had reached out to her as Season 10 of the Bravo show unravels.

“Really?” Cohen asked. “You’ve heard from Heather Locklear? The two of you have been chatting. On DM you’ve been chatting?”

“So Heather just reached out to me and said thank you with a bunch of hearts and prayers,” she responded, noting that she was shocked to hear from the “Melrose Place” star. “And I was like — it just made me feel like I was probably bringing this side of Denise out for everyone to see and I wrote back, ‘Of course. The truth always comes out.’ And she wrote a bunch more hearts.”

The former “RHOBH” star added that she asked Locklear to appear on “WWHL” with her, but according to Glanville, “She said, ‘I’ve already had a cease and desist from Denise, so I’m not gonna do it.’”

While Richards spent the latter half of the season denying that she hooked up with Glanville and that she has an open marriage, Locklear, 58, and Richards have a past that pre-dates her reality TV debut.

The duo had a falling out in 2008 after Locklear found out that Richards was dating her ex-husband, Richie Sambora. While Richards and the Bon Jovi rocker ended their rollercoaster relationship for good in 2012, she told Redbook magazine at the time that she did not ruin their marriage.

“I was no longer friends with Heather months before Richie and I got together,” Richards said. “I don’t want to say what caused the split, but she and I weren’t even speaking then. It wasn’t ever like we’d be shopping and go back to her house and I’d flirt with her husband. Yes, I got together with Heather’s soon-to-be ex-husband, but no, I didn’t have an affair with him. If Heather and I had been friends at that time, I would never have crossed that line. But we weren’t. The friendship was not salvageable, and in the beginning, Richie and I just talked as friends because we were dealing with similar situations. We never planned for anything to happen.”

She concluded, “But in my heart, I know I did not break up their marriage. If either Richie or I had felt our marriages were fixable, we wouldn’t have crossed that line. … I definitely fell in love with him. That would have been a big price to pay for just some rebound fling.”

Unfortunately for fans, it doesn’t look like any of the drama will play out on the next season of the show as Richards announced she was departing the franchise on Wednesday night.

A rep for Locklear didn’t immediately get back to us.
