Miley Cyrus re-created her infamous “Wrecking Ball” video at the 2020 VMAs.

During what appeared to be a pre-recorded performance of her new single “Midnight Sky,” the 27-year-old thew it back to her 2013 hit, straddling a large disco ball and swinging from the ceiling.

In the music video for “Wrecking Ball,” off the former Disney star’s album “Bangerz,” Cyrus rode a construction ball in underwear and boots.

In tonight’s ’80s inspired performance, Cyrus rocked a vintage mullet — not unlike the business in the front, party in the back hairdo her famous dad Billy Ray helped make popular.

“Fire in my lungs, can’t bite the devil on my tongue,” she sang atop the sparkler.

Some have speculated the new song’s lyrics are about Cyrus’ year of heartbreak.

The “Hannah Montana” actress announced her separation from husband Liam Hemsworth last August. She quickly moved on to date Kaitlynn Carter. More recently, she dated singer Cody Simpson, though she announced their split earlier this month.
