The singer, 35, announced the birth of her daughter with fiancé Orlando Bloom on Thursday, revealing that the couple named their baby girl Daisy Dove Bloom.

“We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” Perry and Bloom, 43, wrote in a statement to UNICEF, posting an adorable Instagram photo of mom, dad and baby holding hands. In a precious tribute, Perry had even painted a daisy on her thumbnail.

Daisy Dove didn’t just get her floral moniker from her dad’s famous last name; she also appears to be named after the lead single off the star’s sixth album, “Smile.”

Fittingly, the “Daisies” music video features a pregnant Katy showing off her baby bump in white linens and even nude while frolicking in the flowers. But it was hardly the first time the pop star sported the flower throughout her pregnancy.
