Kristin Cavallari is moving on from Jay Cutler with some symbolic new ink.
The “Very Cavallari” star, 33, visited celebrity tattoo artist JonBoy to get two small but very significant designs in the wake of her divorce from the former Chicago Bears quarterback.
Cavallari took to Instagram to show off the tiny tats, the first of which is a symbol that combines the first letter of each of her three children’s names — Camden, Jaxon and Saylor — and is located on the inside of her left forearm.
The other tattoo, a small butterfly on her wrist, is even more deeply personal. “Butterflies have been such a sign for me when going through difficult times,” she wrote.
Cutler, 36, and Cavallari announced that they were getting a divorce in April in a joint Instagram statement.
“With great sadness after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce,” they wrote. “We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart.”
Since then, Cavallari has accused Cutler of blocking her from buying a home, but the pair later reached a property and custody agreement. Their “Very Cavallari” reality show was cancelled, and Cutler has scrubbed his Instagram account.
But the former “Hills” star appears to be thriving; not only has she posted photos wearing some sexy looks post-split, but Cavallari also recently reunited with her ex-boyfriend Stephen Colletti.
It appears Cavallari is approaching her new single life with a fresh outlook.
