Cardi B endorses AOC for president — once congresswoman turns 35

Call it a Bronx connection.

Rapper Cardi B is encouraging fellow Bronx native, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, to run for President once the 30-year-old meets the minimum age requirement.

Cardi’s early endorsement came after a fan shared a clip from AOC’s Instagram page, where she used Cardi’s hit song “Bodak Yellow” to explain that it took her being elected to congress to afford proper dental care.

“Not @AOC jamming to Bodak Yellow 😩❤️❤️❤️ @iamcardib Cardi better see this,” wrote fan account CardiBForeva, to which the real Cardi, 27, replied, “She better run for president when she turns 35.”

Apparently, even President Trump can see her potential, recently asserting that she would mount a challenge against Sen. Chuck Schumer — and come out victorious.

“Schumer’s going to get beaten by her. She’s going to run against Schumer, and he knows that and he’s going to get beaten by her unless you can talk her out of doing it. He has no chance,” Trump said during an interview with Fox Business.

“Chuck Schumer will be, in my opinion. AOC will run against Chuck Schumer for the Senate. Yeah, I mean, I think. And I think she’ll win,” the president said.

The Democratic rep is running for her congressional seat this November after defeating challenger Michelle Caruso-Cabrera in the June primary.
