Marriage and children aren’t on the horizon for Miley Cyrus.

After marrying and divorcing Liam Hemsworth, to whom she lost her virginity, the “Midnight Sky” singer said she likely won’t go down that road again.

“I never really cared that much. I am sure that my fans are going to pull up me at 12 saying, ‘Oh I want to have kids,’ but like I don’t,” she said on SiriusXM Hits 1’s “The Morning Mash Up,” “as a 27-year-old woman that would have a little bit more of a realistic idea of what they want.

“That has never been kind of my priority.”

Cyrus, who has adopted various animals, said should she ever choose to pursue motherhood she’d consider adoption.

“I actually think that in a way, just looking at our climate change and our water and food it feels like to me, if anything, that I would to take someone that is on the earth,” she explained. “I love adoption and I think that’s really amazing. I definitely don’t think, I do not shame anyone that wants to have children. I just personally really think that that’s a priority for me in my life…”

Following her divorce from Hemsworth and breakup with Cody Simpson, Cyrus is focusing on herself.

“For me, I don’t just really think about marriage and things like this anymore,” she shared. “I follow a lot of feminists online and it’s kind of like how many men do you really ask if they are going to get married or have kids?

“I’m sure maybe we do and you want to buy into Jonas Brothers and things like that but I don’t think that many men feel the pressure to have kids and to get married,” she added.
