It’s been a whirlwind year for Bachelor Nation favorite Mike Johnson, but it hasn’t been without a few life lessons along the way.

Looking back at his time on Hannah Brown’s season of “The Bachelorette,” and Season 6 of “Bachelor in Paradise” last summer, the “Making The Love You Want” author, 32, recently told Page Six he has grasped the broad complexity of vulnerability.

“I learned that vulnerability is sexy. I learned that vulnerability is courage. I learned that vulnerability is strength, Johnson told us. “When I went on the show, I went on the show to find love, and part of the process of finding love is to be vulnerable, to be open, to share things that quite honestly, are not the easiest things to share, but things that should be shared. It’s appreciated when you’re vulnerable.”

Johnson was eliminated during Week 7 of “The Bachelorette,” before venturing to Mexico for “Bachelor in Paradise,” where he left in Week 4.

“I learned from my time on TV is that I’m not made for everybody,” Johnson said. “And that’s perfectly fine.”

Though most of Bachelor Nation would likely disagree, the Air Force veteran knows his self-worth.

“Just because I’m in a room full of other alpha males like myself, I am definitely no less than,” he explained. “You can be in a room full of amazing people, but you amazing too, baby.”

“Making The Love You Want” will be released Oct. 2.
