Prince Harry’s childhood best friend warned him off rushing into his relationship with Meghan Markle — and was “punished” with a snub during the royal wedding, according to a new biography.

Tom “Skippy” Inskip — who had been Harry’s right-hand man during many of his rowdiest escapades as a bachelor — advised his royal BFF to live with the “Suits” actress before “doing anything more serious,” according to The Telegraph, citing the controversial bio being released Tuesday.

Although the advice “came from a good place,” Harry “didn’t totally see it that way,” a source is quoted as saying in the book, “Finding Freedom: Harry, Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family.”

“It really hurt [Harry] that someone he was so close to would not trust his judgment,” said the source, who is understood to have spoken to the biographers with Harry and Meghan’s permission, The Telegraph said.

Inskip and his wife, Lara Hughes-Young, were then “punished” for speaking up — and excluded from the royal couple’s wedding party at Frogmore House in May 2018, the report said.

The feud lasted until last year, when they patched things up after the death of Skippy’s mother-in-law, according to the book.

Harry’s brother, Prince William, and his wife, Catherine, also reportedly expressed similar concerns — long said to be the spark for the ongoing feud that ultimately led to Megxit.

Skippy had been a close friend of Harry’s since they met at Eton, and he had been one of those with him at the infamous Las Vegas night in 2012 where he was caught playing naked billiards with showgirls in a hotel suite.

Skippy’s wedding in Jamaica in 2017 was one of Meghan’s first appearances with the prince.

A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess previously told The Post that the couple was “not interviewed and did not contribute” to the book.

Buckingham Palace told The Telegraph they would not comment on the contents of the book or claims made by unnamed sources.
