Ellen DeGeneres’ reputation has taken a mammoth blow recently, with accusations flying that the atmosphere at her popular show negated her regular on-air mantra of “be kind.”

Former staffers have come out against the 62-year-old star, claiming she created a toxic work environment for her team, citing everything from general rudeness to higher-level employees engaging in sexual misconduct. DeGeneres has admitted some fault, saying in a memo to staffers that she is “sorry,” because as they’ve “grown exponentially, I’ve not been able to stay on top of everything and relied on others to do their jobs as they knew I’d want them done.”

Actors Brad Garrett and Lea Thompson, however, called out DeGeneres for the apology, with Garrett claiming to know “more than one [person] who were treated horribly by her.”

Still, there are other big names who have spoken up in defense of the “Finding Dory” voice actor. See who has come out in support of DeGeneres below.

Scooter Braun

The music manager was the first big name to come out in support of DeGeneres, tweeting that he believes people “love to see people fall” and describing pal Ellen as “a kind, thoughtful, courageous human being who stands for what is right and highlights on her show the best of us.”

He went on to add “I know first-hand how she helps so many when we are watching and when we are not. She isn’t about what is popular, she is about what is right. Sending love to Ellen today.”

Braun’s clients Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande have both appeared on DeGeneres’ show numerous times over the years.

Actress Portia de Rossi is “standing by” wife DeGeneres, telling followers via social media, “To all our fans … we see you. Thank you for your support.” De Rossi, 47, also shared a quote captioned, “I Stand By Ellen” in DeGeneres’ show’s signature white and baby blue.

One of DeGeneres’ frequent guests, Perry has spoken up in her defense, tweeting “I know I can’t speak for anyone else’s experience besides my own but I want to acknowledge that I have only ever had positive takeaways from my time with Ellen & on the @theellenshow.

I think we all have witnessed the light & continual fight for equality that she has brought to the world through her platform for decades. Sending you love & a hug, friend @TheEllenShow.”

Jerry O’Connell

Friend and regular “Ellen” show guest O’Connell reposted a photo DeGeneres’ wife, Portia de Rossi, first shared on her Instagram that said, “I Stand By Ellen.”

“Love Ellen and Portia,” he captioned the post. “Always have. Always will.”

Nacho Figueras

The polo star took to Instagram Monday to not only defend DeGeneres but also to implore fellow stars to do the same, tagging — among others — Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez, Oprah and Justin Timberlake in his lengthy post.

“Everyone loves her because that is who she is,” he wrote. “She makes the world a better place for millions of people everyday and we cannot hit her because something may have not been perfect.

“No one is perfect, and we cannot control everything. So I stand for you my friend and I challenge all the amazing people that know you and call you a friend to say who you are.”

The Oscar-winner also lent her support to the embattled talk show host, writing on Instagram Tuesday, “I ALWAYS ENJOYED MY VISITS TO THE ELLEN SHOW. I’VE SEEN HOW THE AUDIENCE EXUDES HAPPINESS AND GRATITUDE. SHE GIVES BACK TO SO MANY INCLUDING ME.”

Kevin Hart

Fellow comedian Hart is also going to bat for DeGeneres, perhaps returning the daytime staple’s defense of Hart following accusations of homophobia.

“It’s crazy to see my friend go through what she’s going through publicly,” he wrote on Instagram Tuesday. “I’ve known Ellen for years and I can honestly say that she’s one of the dopest people on the f–king planet. She has treated my family and my team with love and respect from day one.”

The funnyman went on to add, “This post is not meant to disregard the feelings of others and experiences. It’s simply to show what my experience has been with my friend. Love you for life Ellen.”
