Teddi Mellencamp’s 5-month-old daughter, Dove, is recovering from successful neurosurgery.

“Thank you for all your prayers,” the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star shared on her Instagram Story on Thursday. “Baby Dove had a successful surgery. So much gratitude to her amazing surgeons Dr. Danielpour and Dr. Urata and all the loving nurses that will continue to help us care for her as she recovers. We are forever grateful.”

Earlier this month, Mellencamp, 39, told fans that her baby would need surgery because she’d been diagnosed with Lambdoid Craniosynostosis, or the premature fusion of the bones in an infant’s skull, per St. Louis Children’s Hospital. It can cause issues with the child’s appearance and brain development complications.

Her husband, Edwin Arroyave, previously told fans the diagnosis made him “stronger in [his] faith.”

“Life is always going to punch you in the face,” he said in an Instagram post ahead of Dove’s surgery. “It happens every time. Right when you’re about to experience blessing and fulfillment in life, something comes along that threatens to bring you down. Those challenges can shape us into who we’re meant to be, or they can scare us into going back to who we used to be. I feel that lately more than ever. When it comes to business, the challenges and tests seem bearable. But when it comes to the people I love most, the challenges test me.”

The couple are also the parents of 7-year-old daughter Slate and 5-year-old son Cruz. Mellencamp is also a doting stepmom to Isabella, Arroyave’s daughter from a previous relationship.
