After months of silence, “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Denise Richards is finally responding to rumors that she hooked up with Brandi Glanville.
On Wednesday’s episode of the Bravo show, Richards, 49, broke down in tears as the women confronted her about the affair, which Glanville claims took place during an April 2019 trip to Northern California.
“Are you f–king kidding me? Are you f–king kidding me?” Denise responded with tears in her eyes as her co-stars asked if Glanville’s allegations were true, adding that her husband Aaron Phypers, as well as one of her daughters and three other children were also on the trip.
When Teddi Mellencamp and Dorit Kemsley pushed Richards to explain her side of the story, she responded, “Guys, I’m going through so much stuff. It has nothing to do with any of us. It has nothing to do with this show.”
She then attempted to have the cameras turned off, which Mellencamp said she does so she can “continue to get a good edit that she wants.”
As the dramatic scene continued, Richards broke down, “I don’t want to be the person that leaves … I have to — this is like — I’m floored by this information. Please do not air this. Please.”
Through tears, she repeatedly says, “It is not true!”
Glanville, 47, has stood by her story that the pair hooked up, and has maintained that she thought Richards and Phypers, 47, “had an understanding” that they were in an open marriage. Richards, who has remained silent throughout the ongoing rumors, has only responded once to a fan denying she has an open marriage, writing, “100% monogamous to my husband.”
Reiterating those sentiments during the episode, Richards insisted, “There’s no story! I’m a very married woman. And I love my husband. To death.”
As the conversation wrapped up, Richards proclaimed that she needed to call a lawyer and that if producers wanted her back on the show that they would not air the footage.
It appears she did not get her way, as Page Six reported in January that she stopped filming with the “RHOBH” cast after the women confronted her about the alleged rendezvous.
