Dr. Dre’s response to estranged wife Nicole Young’s divorce filing reveals the former couple did, in fact, have a prenuptial agreement in place.
In his response, the Beats by Dre founder, 55, agreed to pay Young, 50, spousal support but said their division of property should be governed by their prenup, TMZ reported. In Young’s divorce petition, filed on June 29 by Samantha Spector, she made no mention of a prenup. Dre’s estimated net worth is $800 million.
“The Chronic” musician, who is represented by divorce-attorney-to-the-stars Laura Wasser, listed their date of separation as March 27, 2020. They married in 1996.
Dre and Young are the parents of two adult children: 23-year-old son Truice and 19-year-old daughter Truly.
