Lady Amelia Spencer, the niece of the late Princess Diana, is off the market.

On Monday, Amelia’s father, Charles Spencer, 9th Earl Spencer, confirmed his daughter’s engagement to her boyfriend of 11 years, Greg Mallett.

“So happy for my daughter, Amelia, engaged to her boyfriend of 11 years, Greg – it’s wonderful to hear them both so excited about their future,” Charles tweeted, along with a photo of the future newlyweds.

“Sending them both love, and every good wish for their life together. I love that Greg asked my blessing before proposing. Very sweet,” he continued.

Charles, 56, is the younger brother of the late Princess of Wales, and the maternal uncle of Prince William and Prince Harry. He shares Amelia, 28, and three other children with ex-wife Victoria Aitken.

Earlier this week, Mallett also posted photos of himself and Amelia on Instagram, revealing the proposal took place on July 22.

“So this was the best day of my life. 22nd of July 2020, I asked the love of my life to spend the rest of her life with me and she said YES. Couldn’t be happier and I love you with all my heart @ameliaspencer15,” Mallett captioned the photo.

The royal family has been hearing wedding bells as of late. Earlier this month, Princess Beatrice wed longtime beau Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a private Windsor ceremony. Their original wedding date had been moved due to the coronavirus pandemic.
