It’ll be another boy for Jade Roper and husband Tanner Tolbert.
The “Bachelor in Paradise” alums, who announced in May that they are expecting their third child together, recently shared photos of their reveal to E! News, also detailing how the unveiling went awry.
“Our reveal for the sex of the baby was a total Pinterest fail!” Roper told the outlet. “We were hoping for a volcano eruption of color, and it came out like a flat blue pancake!”
Joined by their 2-year-old daughter Emmy and 11-month-old son Brooks, Roper and Tolbert, both 33, then used a powder cannon instead.
“We are SO excited and thankful to be welcoming a healthy baby boy into our family,” Roper said. “I’m so grateful, and I’m so happy we decided to find out before the baby is born. It gives me something to look forward to and I feel even more bonded to him now.”
Roper and Tolbert’s love story began in 2015 when they appeared on the second season of “Bachelor in Paradise.” After tying the knot a year later, the couple welcomed Emmy in 2017. Last summer, Roper gave birth to Brooks in her closet.
With another baby boy on the way, Tolbert told E! “it’s pretty awesome” his sons will be close in age.
“I’m excited to see them grow up and be so close and hopefully be a little competitive with each other,” he said. “It’ll be fun to see the differences in personalities. Plus, this way Emmy is still our only girl and that feels special to us.”
