Music video producer Dale Resteghini has worked with stars such as RZA and Nicki Minaj, but his new project, “Cracka,” is creating waves.
The controversial series depicts whites as slaves and blacks as slave owners. He said he set out to “help white people see racism from a new perspective,” but after the trailer was released, he received death threats and his phone number and address were posted online.
“I’ve been happily married to a black woman for over 25 years, and my circle of friends and closest peers are all black. I knew going into this that [it] would offend people, but my goal is to start a conversation,” he said.
