On Monday, the 24-year-old Panthers running back celebrated Culpo’s spread in the iconic publication, calling his lady love a “queen” on his Instagram story.

“Congrats to the queen,” McCaffrey posted, sharing an additional photo of the 28-year-old model and the couple’s adorable new puppy, Oliver Sprinkles.

Culpo is one of the mag’s three cover stars, in addition to Jasmine Sanders and Kate Bock.

“WOW! I really am speechless and this still doesn’t feel real,” Culpo said Monday on Instagram. “I am so grateful for every experience I have been able to have with my @si_swimsuit family. Thank you so much @mj_day – your warmth and genuinity is unparalleled and I have learned and grown so much. It’s been an honor to be surrounded by so many amazing and strong women.”

Culpo said appearing in Sports Illustrated has been a longtime dream, revealing she crafted a vision board years prior in hopes of manifesting her dream into a reality.

“I cut out pictures from a huge SI coffee table book I bought and glued my face on it 😂 I was debating sharing this but figured if this huge milestone can mean something to someone else out there then it’s an even greater blessing for me. To anyone who sees this, never stop visualizing and striving for what you want,” Culpo shared.

Culpo follows in the footsteps of fellow WAG Camille Kostek, as Rob Gronkowski’s longtime girlfriend appeared on the cover Sports Illustrated Swimsuit last year.
