That’s one posh piece of sparkle.

On Saturday, Victoria and David Beckham’s son Brooklyn announced his engagement to Nicola Peltz on Instagram, sharing a sweet photo of the couple that gave fans a first look at his fiancée’s giant diamond ring.

According to a trio of experts polled by Page Six Style, the 25-year-old actress’ rock appears to feature an emerald-cut stone that could be worth a quarter of a million dollars.

“We’d estimate the ring to be a 5-carat emerald cut. We’d expect nothing less than the best,” said RareCarat.com‘s CEO Ajay Anand, who put the price at $250,000.

Shannon Delany-Ron, director of communications at JamesAllen.com, was only slightly more conservative in her estimate, telling us that Peltz’s ring could be anywhere from 4.5 to 5 carats “in a classic solitaire setting on a thin band.” She offered the approximate value at between $150,00 and $200,000.

Delany-Ron also pointed out that Victoria Beckham — whose own collection of 14 different engagement rings is the stuff of legend — is partial to emerald cuts as well, and owns three versions of the classic style.

And Brilliant Earth‘s VP of strategy and merchandising, Kathryn Money, shared the same estimated carat count, putting the rock’s prospective value at anywhere from $125,000 to $200,000 depending on the quality and characteristics of its center stone.

Other famous faces who wear emerald-cut sparklers include Jennifer Lopez, Amal Clooney and Jennifer Lawrence.

The only question now is whether Peltz will follow in her future mother-in-law’s footsteps with an entire drawerful of engagement bling.
