Meghan Markle is learning: sometimes best friends make the worst enemies.

Markle’s former bestie, Jessica Mulroney, is said to be “devastated” that the Duchess won’t talk to her and feels abandoned by her pal, according to a report in the Daily Mail.

Even worse for Markle, Mulroney is contemplating writing a tell-all book about their time together in Canada, where Markle lived while filming the TV show “Suits.”

The two fell out over the “White Privilege Scandal” — in which Mulroney sent black social media influencer Sasha Exeter a string of threatening messages and vowed to ruin her career after taking offense to an Exeter post.

In it, Exeter called on people with large social media followings to speak out in support of the Black Lives Matter movement.

The outburst was apparently the final straw for Markle, who reportedly had felt increasingly as if Mulroney was “benefiting” from her position as royal BFF and stylist.

Sources told the Daily Mail that Mulroney has been desperately reaching out to Markle, to no avail, and has even been “warned that she is unlikely to be readmitted to her inner circle.”

Said one source: “Their friends have told (Mulroney) not to expect to hear back from Meghan because when she cuts someone off, she’s done for good — just like with her family.”

Mulroney is under a lot of stress lately.

Her spat with Exeter not only cost her her friendship with Markle, but her livelihood as well: Her show “I Do Redo” was canceled, and she got fired as a commentator from “Good Morning America.”

Her partnership with Hudson Bay also was axed and she was forced to step down from the charity she helped start, The Shoebox Project.

Mulroney was said to be devastated that Markle didn’t call her daughter Ivy, who was in Markle’s wedding to Prince Harry, on her birthday last month.

According to the Daily Mail, Mulroney is now “at her wits’ end and is considering writing a tell-all book about Meghan ‘because she has nothing to lose’.”

Mulroney is not the only friend to be shown the cold shoulder.

Pals in LA told the Daily Mail that Markle is being especially aloof to old friends “as she prepares to reinvent herself as a public speaker” and enters a new level of society surrounded by the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry and the Obamas.

Markle is said to be concerned about who she can trust and a source told the newspaper: “Meghan has cut off most of her old friends in LA. They were so excited to see her when she came back home and were expecting to hear from her.

“But she hasn’t reached out to anyone. Friends have tried to connect with her through Doria but she doesn’t answer her phone and the old numbers they have for Meghan don’t work anymore.

“Lots of people are now feeling sad they’ve been cut off by her and are having to accept that they’ll never hear from her again.”

But maybe Markle should remember the adage: keep your friends close and your enemies closer — especially as her privacy suit against the Daily Mail is ongoing.

The newspaper is pushing to have the friends who spilled her “side” of the argument against her father to People magazine revealed.

Markle is especially dependent on them to say she had no idea they were doing such a thing. It has long been assumed Mulroney and the LA crew she now no longer speaks to were among those friends.
