Faith Stowers contacted a lawyer about suing her “Vanderpump Rules” co-stars Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute after they falsely claimed she was a criminal, she tells Page Six.

In 2018, Schroeder and Doute read a news report about a black woman who had drugged and robbed men, and called cops to tell them that Stowers — who is also black — fit the description of the culprit.

Doute also tweeted the picture of the suspect, and wrote, “hey tweeties, doesn’t this [former ‘Vanderpump’ cast member] thief look familiar?” She later posted a shot of Stowers — who appeared on the Bravo show on and off from 2015-17 — as “proof.”

Schroeder and Doute were fired from the show on Tuesday because of the incident. And now Stowers tells us, “I actually reached out to an [attorney].” She added, “The time may have passed for me to do that but it is still a thought.”

Stowers says that she thinks she would have had a case against them for defamation, though she would have had to have filed a suit within a year of the alleged defaming.

Meanwhile, she says she thinks Bravo needs to vet its stars better. “I love Bravo,” she says, but “you put them on a show because people look up to them. But racism is learned, and when people are watching that and see people get away with racist comments time and time again, it is not OK.”
