Months before he even graduated high school, then-scrawny neophyte Cole was contacted by the outfit telling him, “‘Hey, we’ve seen some footage of you. We’re really, really impressed,’” along with plans to fly him to a tryout. He told everyone he knew. But when he received the itinerary, it said it was for pro wrestler “Xavier Woods.” Turns out Woods’ real name is Austin Watson, and there was a total mix-up.
They both wound up making it in the end anyway.
