Jake Paul welcomes any legal snafus coming his way.
After Scottsdale police slapped the YouTube star, 23, with criminal trespass and unlawful assembly charges on Thursday, the prankster urged people to focus on the bigger issues at hand.
“gimme my charges and let’s put the focus back on George Floyd and Black Lives Matter,” he wrote.
Paul previously insisted that he was at the Fashion Square Mall in Scottsdale on Saturday to document the looting when he was caught on camera.
“During our ongoing investigation it was confirmed that social media influencer Jake Paul was in attendance and remained inside of the mall after an unlawful assembly was declared,” the police force said.
Authorities also described Paul as a “social media influence” who was “a participant in the riot.”
Paul was issued a summons to appear in court in a month.
