On Wednesday night, the 66-year-old “Schitt’s Creek” actress took home the Canadian Screen Award for best lead actress, comedy, giving a hilarious acceptance speech from home during the coronavirus pandemic.

“Wow, thank you kind Canadian Screen Academy members,” O’Hara — who won the award for the fifth time in a row for the role of Moira Rose on the hit show — said. “I hope you and your families are well and enjoying the great indoors. I feel like one lucky lady to have worked on ‘Schitt’s Creek.’”

Suddenly, an imaginary orchestra swelled as if to hurry O’Hara’s speech along, who exclaimed, “What the fu-hell?,” before continuing with her speech as she thanks her “dear friend Eugene Levy and his infinitely talented son Daniel.”

After a beat, the “Best in Show” actress begins singing along with the “orchestra” as she thanks her “sweet brother Michael” who worked on the series and her “fellow fun-loving Canadians.”

Fellow Canadian Seth Rogen tweeted, “Catherine O’Hara is inspirational. She proves some people just keep getting funnier and funnier and funnier.”

“Schitt’s Creek” scored big at the award show nabbing six trophies, including best comedy and best lead actor, comedy, for Eugene Levy. The beloved series wrapped up its sixth and final season this year.
