Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen’s marriage wasn’t filled with Tiger Blood and crazy romps.

Richards, 49, revealed on Wednesday night’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” that their relationship was tame — hardly a comparison to the lifestyle he’s famous for.

“A lot of people have an impression of me being wild and crazy,” she said during the show. “But Charlie was sober when we got married so we were not this swinging couple like people might assume. We weren’t.”

Sheen, 54, tied the knot with Richards in 2002 and they welcomed their daughter Sami in 2004. Their relationship began to go downhill before they welcomed their daughter Lola in 2005.

“When I got pregnant with Lola, things started to change rapidly,” she explained. “It was a very dark time. Very toxic. And I filed for divorce when I was six months pregnant with her.”

“I always did whatever I could to hide Charlie’s behavior,” she added. “How do you tell kids what’s really going on? I would say, ‘Dad had to go work but he loves you so much. He wants to be here for you girls.’”

She previously expressed on another episode of “RHOBH” that she often worries about how Sheen’s infamous past has affected their teenagers, saying: “There’s a lot that the kids don’t know about their dad, and I want to keep it that way.”

“Even though he’s Charlie Sheen, that is still, to them, their dad,” she explained, alluding to his notoriety for partying with drugs and women. “I never talk badly about him and I want him to be part of their lives because I met a lot of the women that Charlie entertained and a lot of them had father-daughter issues. And I do not want that to be our girls.”

Their divorce was finalized in 2006 but they are still at odds over the “Two and a Half Men” star’s child support payments.

Richards has since moved on and adopted her daughter Eloise in 2011.

These days, Richards says she’s “struggling with parenting right now with my teenagers.” On this week’s “RHOBH,” as Richards explained to a hairdresser in a scene with Sami that she didn’t know she’d dyed her hair magenta, the actress said: “Sami, I think she does things hoping to get a reaction out of me. It’s not easy.”

Richards tied the knot again with Aaron Phypers in 2018. Sheen was invited to the nuptials.
