Who will be the “American Scoundrel”?

New data compiled by TopCasinoBonus.com has ranked the top 50 movie villains by whom audiences love to hate the most.

The louse list uses the villain’s best-known film’s RottenTomatoes score, how often they’re searched on Google each month and Wikipedia traffic to determine their popularity.

One alien thug vaporizes the competition: Thanos (Josh Brolin) from “Avengers: Endgame,” the highest-grossing movie of all time, scores an 81.05. In second place is Darth Vader from “Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope,” played by James Earl Jones and David Prowse, scoring 69.2.

Those jerks are followed, in order, by the Joker (Heath Ledger) in “The Dark Knight” (66.6); Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” (49.96); and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) from “Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens.”

The list also includes each country’s favorite villain. While most of the world, including the US, is currently smitten with Thanos or the Joker, there are a few outliers. Mali loves to loathe Tony Montana from “Scarface” and the Republic of the Congo prefers “The Terminator.”
