Hadid’s mom, Yolanda, also has a farm nearby, where she’s been busy making essential oils and gin, and he reportedly bought the farm on her advice. The former One Direction heartthrob revealed in 2018 that he grows crops of tomatoes, cucumbers and cherries at the property, saying that he likes to do a lot of farm work and ride his ATV. He added, “I don’t work well in group situations with people staring at me.”
Zayn and Gigi own a horse together called Cool, while Yolanda’s nearby New Hope retreat has cattle, sheep and chickens. The couple are believed to be spending time with Yolanda, too. Gigi referred to her pregnancy on Instagram for the first time Sunday, with a sweet Mother’s Day message. Posting a childhood photo of herself with a pregnant Yolanda, the model wrote: “Best I could ever ask for. Happy Mother’s Day to the one I’ll do my best to emulate. I love you beyond words … you are a superhero!!!!!”
