Pop icon Britney Spears has another surprise for her fans … and this time she’s only burning the Internet down instead of her home gym.
On Friday, Spears, 38, changed the cover art for her 2016 album “Glory,” without warning, replacing its original photo of her backlit face with a brand new photo showing her stretched out amid chains along a desert landscape — and wearing a barely-there golden one-piece.
The post had garnered nearly half a million likes by early morning Saturday.
Spears later posted on Instagram that she changed the cover to celebrate the recording’s rise to the #1 slot on the iTunes album chart.
The milestone was the result of a fan social media campaign that started back when the album was released.

“You asked for a new Glory cover and since it went to number one we had to make it happen,” Spears wrote. “Couldn’t have done it without you all.”
Of course, some fans noticed the change even before Spears officially announced it.
“The album cover for Glory being updated in 2020, what is happening?” said one Twitter user.
“Oh…my God. A new (original?) cover using the scrapped David LaChapelle photo shoot for @britneyspears’ #Glory is now inexplicably on Spotify,” said another.
