Mark Levin has never been one to mince words. The nationally syndicated radio host and Convention of States endorser loves his country, and he’s willing to say what the American people need to hear — not what they want to hear.
That patriotic mindset was on display during a segment on Fox News when a member of the audience asked what could be done about the increasing reliance on the federal government.
“I’m not about to curl up in a fetal position and surrender the greatest nation on the face of the earth,” Levin responded.
Levin’s grandfather and great uncle fought to defend the country they love, and Levin believes they’d both say the same thing about the problems we see today: “Get off your ass and do something about it.”
Like the Convention of States Project, Levin believes that the only solution to federal overreach is found in Article V of the Constitution.
Levin helped launch the Convention of States movement with the release of his book, The Liberty Amendments, back in 2013, and it remains the only way to effectively and permanently limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government.
An Article V Convention of States can propose constitutional amendments that scale back the size and scope of federal agencies, limit the power of the executive branch, fix bad Supreme Court decisions, and rein in Congress’ irresponsible spending.
With this complete package of amendments in place, the federal government will be forced to restore freedom and self-governance across the country, and the American people will have no choice but to rise to the occasion and get our nation back on track.
