There appears to be some Bumble BS afoot.

Common and Tiffany Haddish seem to have signed a — no doubt lucrative — endorsement deal with the dating site, and the new couple has been helping the dating app to promote its remote video dating feature during the lockdown. Except they are together.

“While we are at home a lot of times alone, alone doesn’t mean lonely,” the rapper told Men’s Health to plug the app. Last week Bumble even let fans watch the couple’s supposed “first virtual date” on its Instagram account.

“We can’t be in the same place right now,” Common says in the clip, “It’s good to see you.” The problem? Haddish and Common are clearly living together in the same house — and have been doing so for at least four weeks.

Deadline reported on Apr. 5 that the couple made a “surprise appearance” on a Def Jam fundraiser, sitting together on a sofa. And on Thursday, Haddish did a Instagram Live chat with Dwayne Wade and Gabrielle Union — and at the end she turned the camera to show Common standing next to her doing the dishes in a pink gas-mask.
