“Bachelor” alum Nick Viall appears to be in Peter Weber‘s corner.

On Monday, the “Viall Files” podcast host, 39, addressed recent drama involving Weber, 28, and his ex, Madison Prewett. The comments came a week after Prewett spoke out about the former “Bachelor’s” reunion with Kelley Flanagan.

During his podcast, Viall speculated about Prewett’s honesty, referencing a January allegation that she created her own fan Instagram account.

“Here’s what we know, Peter might be a lot of things. He might have been sloppy, you could have argued that maybe he’s got some maturing to do, he’s certainly indecisive, but what Peter has also been is honest, even to a fault,” Viall said, later adding, “We also know Madison to be a little bit of a liar.”

“It’s true. People want to forget, I know Madison wants to forget it,” Viall continued, referencing the allegedly fake fan account. “It is silly and trivial, and there’s a logical explanation for it, that she wanted people to like her.”

“I know Madison thinks I don’t like her and I know people think I’ve been hard on Madison, I think she’s just fine. I’ve defended Madison,” Viall went on. “But, if you’re going to be righteous, and you’re going to be pious, and you’re going to talk about your relationship with God and how you want to be an example to young women, blah, blah, blah, then I hold you to a higher standard. And so don’t be a liar. Don’t be vain. I’m vain, I can be vain,” Viall said.

He added, “I don’t like that if you’re going to be super pious. I’ve talked to producers and they like Madison, but they also think she can be a little manipulative and a little bit of a liar.”

A rep for Prewett did not immediately return our request for comment.

Prewett, 24, finished second on Weber’s season of “The Bachelor” in March. And, while the pair have gone their separate ways, Prewett spoke about Weber’s connection with Flanagan on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s “Off the Vine” podcast last week, claiming he contacted her before the pair’s Chicago reunion.

“To be honest, what was really confusing to me is that two days before he’s spotted in Chicago, he was like calling me and texting me like, I miss you, let’s get back together,’” Prewett alleged.

In response, Weber fired back: “@madiprew you’d think you’d have a little more respect for this situation given we both know there’s more to the story.”

Weber, for his part, has put Prewett out of sight and out of mind and no longer follows her on Instagram. It appears his focus is now Flanagan, 27.

“Peter and Kelley are fully dating, but they aren’t admitting it to people,” a source told Us Weekly on Tuesday.

Flanagan was eliminated on Weber’s season of “The Bachelor” in Week 7, although the duo met prior to filming.
