“The Price is Right” announcer George Gray, 53, is recovering in an Arizona hospital after suffering three consecutive heart attacks last week.

Gray, who has been on the game show since 2011, was experienced chest pains on April 20 and suffered his first heart attack on his way to the hospital, his rep told Entertainment Tonight.

Doctors inserted a stent to restore blood flow to an artery, but it failed and leading to a second heart attack. A second stent was inserted as a result, but it also failed. Gray suffered his third heart attack while on the operating table.

He is currently in stable condition and “seems to be improving,” per his rep, who also told ET that Gray “is lucky that he was already on the operating table when the big heart attack happened.”

Gray was supposed to be on vacation with his wife, Brittney Green, but the coronavirus pandemic changed their plans.

“Things could have been a lot worse,” his rep noted. “The remote beaches of Thailand, where he most certainly wouldn’t have survived this massive episode.”

“George would love to thank all his friends and fans for the outpouring of love and support,” his rep concluded. “He is looking forward to returning to the set of Price as soon as they come back from the pandemic hiatus. For now he will remain in Arizona until he is healthy enough to return to his LA home where he will continue recovery and any necessary treatment.”
