Either police missed the party, ignored it or there was no party at Dak Prescott’s home.
Police in Prosper, Texas, received a report Friday night of a gathering that violated coronavirus social-distancing regulations, but upon arriving at Prescott’s home, reported not seeing one taking place, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. An officer merely reminded Prescott of the guidelines he had to adhere to.
TMZ reported Saturday that Prescott hosted a birthday party for a friend that included Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott and up to 30 guests, which would violate an executive order by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott.
The Star-Telegram quoted a source close to Prescott saying, “Dak did NOT have over 10 people and was not in violation of any social distancing.” It is possible that when the police arrived at Prescott’s home, they missed the party — if a party did take place — and only saw the small gathering for dinner, which TMZ reported took place later in the evening.
Prescott already has been seen working out with former Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant, a violation of the stay-at-home order.
