“Something’s Gotta Give” director Nancy Meyers says she may have another movie on the way, but is not interested in making something for a streaming service.
“I have talked to some people,” she told Katie Couric on Instagram Live. “If you do one of those series, it’s like making three or four movies. I’m 70, I don’t want all that. It’s too much. I have done it for 40 years. . .but maybe I would make a movie.”
Meyers says she has questioned herself what a comedy script would look like in a post coronavirus world. “If you were setting a movie in a contemporary setting, how do you ignore this?”
