Jennifer Stone has traded in Mickey Mouse ears for scrubs.

The “Wizards of Waverly Place” star, 27, graduated from nursing school in December and has been fighting against coronavirus from the “front lines.”

She shared her experiences on Instagram, captioning a photo of her different hospital IDs: “A very good friend of mine (@maiarawalsh ) pointed out to me that today is #worldhealthday. It is also the day I went from a volunteer, then a student nurse, and now an RN resident. I just hope to live up to all of the amazing healthcare providers on the front lines now as I get ready to join them. #worldhealthorganization #supportnurses #westayhereforyou❤️pleasestayhomeforus #covid2020.”

Stone previously shared her nursing aspirations alongside a video from her graduation ceremony in December, saying: “It’s been a long road of blood (mostly other people’s), sweat, and tears (those were mine) but I can finally call myself a nursing grad! Now to start studying for NCLEX!#nursingschoolgraduate #nurselife #actorbyday #nursebynight.”

It appears that Stone is living in California. The state has recently taken extreme measures to protect its citizens from COVID-19, with one county even threatening to implement fines for not wearing a face mask in public.
