“Def Comedy Jam” is to return for the first time since 1997 with the special “Healing Through Laughter,” a stand-up show to help raise funds for protective equipment for “workers and people in vulnerable and underserved communities” struggling with the pandemic.

The show — which aired on HBO from 1992 to 1997 — will be revived as a Facebook livestream Sunday at 10 p.m. Cedric the Entertainer is set to host, joined by original DJ Kid Capri.

Chris Rock, Chris Tucker, D.L. Hughley, Mike Epps, Adele Givens and Gary Owen, among others, are slated to perform. Donations can be made through GoFundMe.
