The 54-year-old correspondent spoke of her testing, diagnosis, and her other experiences with the virus. She also pointed out how important the practice of social distancing is during this health scare.
Burke is only the latest person who works in and around the NBA who has announced a positive result for coronavirus.
Nearly a dozen players have tested positive. Among those who tested positive, former Nets center, and the league’s first openly gay player, Jason Collins, announced that he has tested positive for the virus. The Celtics’ Marcus Smart, two members of the Los Angeles Lakers, and three members of the Philadelphia 76ers have announced that they have tested positive. The Denver Nuggets also noted that someone in their offices had also tested positive.
On the other hand, TNT broadcaster and former NBA player Charles Barkley told fans that he had tested negative for the virus after a brief scare.
