Khloé Kardashian and ex Tristan Thompson appear to be back on good terms, despite last year’s infamous cheating scandal.
However, reliving the past drama by watching the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” premiere is still “awkward,” the reality star admits.
“I love that tristan is watching this premiere with me and he is now seeing what they say when he’s not around lol AWKWARD!!,” Khloé, 35, tweeted during the Season 18 premiere on Thursday.
The former couple are apparently in quarantine together with their 1-year-old daughter, True, during the coronavirus pandemic.
In the episode, Kim Kardashian invited Thompson to dinner with pals Jonathan “Foodgod” Cheban and Lala Anthony at Estiatorio Milos in New York City.
“I think what you’re doing is nice,” Khloe told her sister. “I think it’s beyond that you invited him.”
However, the Good American co-founder later admitted in the episode that she wasn’t completely comfortable with her sister hanging out with her ex.
“I thought it was really nice that he came to dinner, and that you guys allowed that, but we all just don’t need to be hanging out for no reason,” she told Kim.
Over the past few months, Khloé has seemingly forgiven her ex for his cheating and has even called him a “great person.”
Thompson, 29, has made an effort to get back in Khloé’s good graces by leaving a slew of complimentary comments on her Instagram, and gifting her a diamond necklace for her birthday.
Last February, the NBA player was accused of kissing Kylie Jenner’s former BFF, Jordyn Woods, at a house party. He also reportedly cheated on Khloé when she was nine months pregnant.
On Thursday, Khloe retweeted a fan comment that praised her and Thompson for making amends.
“I love how @khloekardashian and Tristian can co parent and leave the drama alone for the sake of True,” the fan wrote. “Its not a lot of that these days. God bless them.”
The reality star responded with six red hearts and a prayer hands emoji.
