When Keith Urban was forced to cancel his Houston show because of the coronavirus, the country singer surprised his fans with a live-streamed concert from his basement.

Urban’s wife, Nicole Kidman, joined the crooner and his collaborator, Jeff Linsenmaier, for theshow that was taped in their Nashville home. Kidman, 52, posted a selfie from their impromptu concert and wrote, “Just loved getting to sing and dance with you all.”

Instagram Live concerts are becoming an increasing trend as New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, California and more states have implemented bans on large public gatherings. Chris Martin of the band Coldplay performed an intimate live-streamed concert, though apologized because the other members of his band were quarantined in other countries. Martin, 43, took song requests from the comments and played “A Sky Full of Stars” and “Up&Up.”

Music producer David Foster and his wife, singer Katharine McPhee, also teamed up for a duet performance and noted, “We are going to try to do it every day-for our own entertainment and hopefully for all of you too.” They’re also taking song requests.

Grammy winner John Legend announced he’ll also perform on Instagram Live on Tuesday afternoon. His wife, Chrissy Teigen, confirmed she’ll be attending because she “literally” has “no choice.”
