After husband Tom Brady announced Tuesday he’s leaving the Patriots after two decades, the 39-year-old supermodel expressed how thankful she is for “the wonderful experiences.”
“So much gratitude for all the wonderful experiences and friendships we had in beautiful New England this past few years,” Bündchen wrote in the comments section of Brady’s post.
Taking to Instagram on St. Patrick’s Day, the 42-year-old quarterback penned a heartfelt message to Patriots Nation, including owner Robert Kraft and coach Bill Belichick, revealing the next chapter of his NFL career will take place elsewhere.
“My children were born and raised here and you always embraced this California kid as your own,” the six-time Super Bowl champ wrote.
Brady and Bündchen, who have been married since 2009, share son Benjamin, 10, and daughter Vivian, 7. He also shares son 12-year-old son John with ex Bridget Moynahan.
Hours after the bombshell dropped, it was revealed Brady is expected to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, reportedly receiving $30 million per year.
The NFL’s free agency period officially kicks off Wednesday at 4 p.m.
