Clare Crawley encourages men to apply for ‘The Bachelorette’ after shutdown

Clare Crawley is hopeful for even more options in her quest for love as the next “Bachelorette.”

Clare Crawley is hopeful for even more options in her quest for love as the next “Bachelorette.”

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the 38-year-old hairstylist encouraged more single suitors to apply for the long-running reality series following the recent production shutdown over coronavirus concerns.

“I’m not saying this personally — but I feel like since we have a break in the show right now, I don’t think it’s too late to submit people,” Crawley said, according to Entertainment Tonight. “So, submit them, why not? What’s the worst that could happen?”

Reps at Warner Bros. and ABC did not immediately return our request for comment.

Last week, the 32 men who will be vying for Crawley’s heart were revealed, ranging in age from 23-42. Crawley, the oldest lead in franchise history at 38, has opened her heart to men both younger or older.

“I have been known to date younger guys, so that’s not a problem for me,” Crawley said earlier this month on “Good Morning America.” “The thing is I’m wondering if they’re ready for me, for my age. I feel like that would be more of an issue, than me with them, because I feel so much younger at heart than my actual age.”

Despite the delayed start of her journey, Crawley — who turns 39 on Friday — is keeping up with fans on social media — and shutting down trolls.

On Saturday, Crawley clapped back at her “Bachelor” ex Juan Pablo Galavis, who shaded the new cast.

“I just SAW the GUYS for @Clare_Crawley Bachelorette season and its gonna be INTERESTING seeing HER get hit on by KIDS on their 20s… I think this MIGHT be the 3rd SEASON Im gonna watch,” Galavis tweeted at the time.

Crawley, who was the runner-up on Galavis’ season of “The Bachelor” in 2014, soon replied: “And yet here you are, older than 99% of them and still cant practice compassion and kindness…”
