And then there were three.

With the Titans and 49ers out of the Tom Brady sweepstakes, the once-crowded field of interested parties is down to the Chargers, Buccaneers and Patriots, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Earlier in the day, there were whispers that the Broncos could be a late entry to the Brady free-agency frenzy. Broncos beat writer Mike Klis quelled those rumors over Twitter and said the team already has a franchise quarterback in Drew Lock.

Brady and his family just returned from a vacation in Costa Rica.

NFL free agency begins on Wednesday at 4 p.m., but the league tampering window opened on Monday at noon. The 42-year-old quarterback and his agent, Don Yee, can now begin hearing pitches from other teams.

ESPN reported Sunday that Brady “does not have anything close to a deal in New England yet.”
