One of “Westworld” new stars for Season 3, John Gallagher Jr., found himself clapping back at a rude fan following the HBO show’s season premiere on Sunday night.

A Twitter account user praised the season for having a “solid” first episode but followed with a separate tweet reading: “Also we didn’t need @JohnGallagherJr brought back – his insufferable run in The Newsroom was enough.”

The tweet — which tagged the Tony-award winning actor — sparked his ire.

“Hey man. Can’t believe you need to be told this but it’s incredibly rude and graceless to tag an actor when criticizing them,’ Gallagher Jr. wrote in his reply to the original post.

“By all means, hate my work and go off on me all you want, plenty critics have, but please don’t @ me when you’re doing it. Thanks.”

Gallagher Jr., is a new addition to the HBO sci-fi series which also stars Evan Rachel Wood, Thandie Newton and Jeffrey Wright.
