The DUI-damaged Porsche of Paul Pelosi is up for auction

You could have the expensive Porsche that Paul Pelosi crashed in California while he was drunk.

It looks like Pelosi's 2021 Carrera 4S ended up on the auction website copart.com, where damage to its "sides" and "undercarriage" is listed. The black sports car has only 2,738 miles on it, but the listing says that it is worth about $170,000 and could be sold at a store.

Police reports don't include the car's vehicle identification number (VIN), and a Carfax report on the VIN doesn't show who owns the car. Fox News said that the Carfax report shows that Pelosi's car was in a "severe" accident on May 28, the day she crashed it.

According to the Carfax report, the car was damaged by a "front or side impact," its airbags went off, and it had to be towed.

Photos of the car on the auction site show the same damage as the photos that the police released. In their reports, the police also said that Pelosi's car was towed after she was arrested for driving while drunk.

Pelosi, who is married to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, was on his way from a dinner party to their $5 million vineyard, River Run, on May 28. Around 10:15 p.m., a 48-year-old man driving a 2014 Jeep hit his Porsche in a dark intersection in Napa. In the accident, the other driver was hurt.

The criminal complaint against Paul Pelosi, age 82, says that police saw clear signs that he was drunk at the scene. Officers say that he smelled like alcohol, was unsteady on his feet, and slurred his words when they found him sitting in the driver's seat of his Porsche at the scene of the crash.

Paul Pelosi had a blood alcohol content of .082%, according to the court documents, just above the .08% BAC limit.

Dashcam footage released by the California Highway Patrol on Tuesday shows Paul Pelosi mumbling to an officer that he had a “glass of champagne before dinner” and also “a glass of white.”

He also told the police that he started drinking around 7 p.m. and stopped about an hour later.

He admitted to driving under the influence and was given three years of probation on Tuesday. A judge also gave him a five-day prison sentence, but he will only have to serve four of them. The fifth day will be spent doing community service.

The multimillionaire real estate investor and venture capitalist will also have to take a three-month course on how not to drive drunk, and his car will have a device that locks the ignition for a year.

A woman who answered the phone at the auction house told Fox that she didn't know anything more about the Porsche than what was already public. She told the outlet that the cars for sale at Copart come from both insurance companies and private dealers.
