Blame it on the a-a-a-alcohol.

Tory Lanez allegedly told Megan Thee Stallion he shot her because he was “too drunk,” according to text messages obtained by TMZ.

A source confirmed to Page Six that the text messages are real.

“I know u prolly never gone talk to me again, but I genuinely want u to know I’m sorry from the bottom of my heart,” the “LUV” rapper reportedly said. “I was just too drunk.”

In the texts, which Page Six has not seen, TMZ claims that Lanez, 28, never referenced “shooting” or a gun.

“None the less s—t should have never happened and I can’t change what did. I just feel horrible,” he also allegedly said.

In July, Page Six exclusively reported that Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, and Megan, 25, got into an altercation following a house party with Kylie Jenner.

The Canadian rapper then allegedly “fired the shots from within the vehicle while Megan was outside trying to leave,” according to a source.

“There is video and the police are investigating,” the insider added. “This is a case of a man physically harming and abusing a woman.”

Megan later claimed via Instagram that Lanez shot her after she had been accused of lying in numerous blogs.

She said she had stayed silent until then out of fear of how the police would retaliate against a black man who shot someone.

“Soon as the police tell us all get out the motherf–kin’ car, the police is really aggressive,” the “WAP” rapper said. “You think I’m ’bout to tell the police that we, n—-s, us black people, got a gun in the car?”

Megan also shared gruesome photos of her foot wounds to prove that she was shot and to silence critics.

Police arrested Lanez when they pulled over his SUV, after the incident, on gun possession charges. He has not been charged in connection to the alleged shooting.
