Lily Allen and David Harbour are no average couple.
The singer, 35, wed the “Stranger Things” actor, 45, in a Las Vegas ceremony on Sunday with a little help from an Elvis impersonator.
“In a wedding officiated by the king himself, the people’s princess wed her devoted, low born, but kind credit card holder in a beautiful ceremony lit by the ashen skies courtesy of a burning state miles away in the midst of a global pandemic,” Harbour captioned photos on Instagram, adding that the two headed to In-N-Out to celebrate with burgers and fries after saying “I do.”
Despite the casual nuptials, Allen clearly put plenty of thought into her wedding dress, sporting a double-breasted Dior number with a bateau neckline, black buttons, belted waist and above-the-knee hemline paired with black suede platforms.
A black version of the dress currently retails for $4,300.
To complement the retro vibe of her wedding-day look, the singer styled her hair in a bouffant updo with her two-tiered veil pinned beneath.
The couple first sparked engagement rumors in December 2019 when Allen was spotted wearing a diamond ring with a round-cut center stone and pavé diamond band, but didn’t confirm the news until May 2020. They obtained a marriage license shortly before tying the knot this weekend.
For Allen’s first wedding to Sam Cooper in 2011, she wore two different wedding dresses: a lace look by Delphine Manivet for the ceremony, followed by an empire-waisted Chanel Haute Couture creation for the reception — which the musician later admitted she temporarily misplaced, despite its over-$300,000 price tag.
Let’s hope she keeps a closer eye on the Dior.
