Landon Clifford, the patriarch of the YouTube show “Cam & Fam,” has died at 19.

Camryn Clifford confirmed her husband’s death via Instagram. The couple’s popular video series amassed 1.29 million subscribers since premiering in 2017. The young family documented life with their kids, Collette Briar Clifford, 2, and Delilah Rose Clifford, who was born in May.

“August 13th 2020 was Landon’s last day being the best dad and husband he could be,” Camryn, 19, wrote to her 472,000 followers. “After spending the following 6 days in a coma he passed on and donated several organs to people in need all over the country. He died saving the lives of others. That’s the type of person he was.”

Camryn revealed that Landon had been in a medically induced coma after a brain injury, and mourned the fact that he would not be able to walk his baby girls down the aisle one day.

“[He was] compassionate, loving, thoughtful, kind, and gentle. He was an amazing husband and the best father those girls could of ever asked for,” she wrote. “It saddens me deeply that they will never get to truly know him. He was so young and had so much more life to live. This isn’t how things were supposed to go . . . He was meant to die old with me. Words can not come close to describe the pain I feel.”

In a post shared on Instagram earlier this month, Camryn implored her followers to help “stop the stigma around mental health. You never know what someone else is going through so always choose to show kindness and grace.”
