John Travolta recently paid tribute to his late wife, sharing a sweet video of himself dancing with 20-year-old daughter Ella in honor of “momma” Kelly Preston.
“My daughter @ella.travolta and I dancing in memory of momma,” the veteran actor captioned the heartfelt clip on Instagram. “One of Kelly’s favorite things, dancing with me.”
The 66-year-old Hollywood veteran is seen twirling his daughter around on the dance floor as piano music can be heard in the background.
Preston’s death certificate revealed the actress died at her family’s Florida home following a secret battle with breast cancer. Travolta was the first to reveal his wife’s death on July 12 at the age of 57.
“She fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many. Kelly’s love and life will always be remembered,” the actor wrote. Daughter Ella also penned a lengthy dedication to her mother, calling the “Jerry McGuire” actress “courageous, strong,” and “beautiful.”
“Anyone who is lucky enough to have known you or to have ever been in your presence will agree that you have a glow and a light that never ceases to shine and that makes anyone around you feel instantly happy,” Ella wrote. “Thank you for being there for me no matter what. Thank you for your love. Thank you for your help and thank you for making this world a better place. You have made life so beautiful and I know you will continue to do so always. I love you so much mama.❤️”
