Lili Reinhart is getting candid about her “emotional” breakup from Cole Sprouse.

The “Riverdale” actress revealed in a new interview with Refinery29  that the last couple of months have “probably [been] the most emotional few months of my entire life.”

“My therapist [told] me, ‘Your body’s going through withdrawal from love,’” she said. “‘You’re used to having this exchange of happy chemicals between you and the person that you’re with.’ In moments of my life, I have dropped every ounce of pride that I had just to be like, Love me. Please take the pain away for a day, a second, an hour, just so I can feel that fix again.”

In May, a source exclusively confirmed to Page Six that Reinhart, 23, and Sprouse, 28, had broken up after dating for nearly three years. We were told the “Riverdale” stars were quarantining separately after their split.

Reinhart told Refinery29 that the pandemic has been the “first time in four years where I’ve been able to like stop and process the immense life changes that I’ve gone through.”

She said she previously struggled with facing rejection from ages 12 to 19, and then hadn’t — until now — processed becoming an “overnight success” when she landed “Riverdale.”

“I couldn’t see the light,” said the actress, who plays Betty on the CW drama. “I was like, ‘I feel like I’m dying.’ It was f—king rough, and there’s no other way through it than just through it. I’ve seen a lot of people when it comes to heartache and grief and breakups, and they try to get that void filled with sex, with coke, with food, with drinking, [but] the void is still there. I took the road less traveled and just dealt with my s—t. I had to face my own pain head-on.”

On August 4, Reinhart shared that she took a solo trip to Mount Shasta on Sprouse’s birthday for some “mental clarity and healing.”

“Very grateful to have the opportunity to travel to such a sacred place and reconnect with myself and God,” she captioned a post on Instagram. “Hope all of you are using this time to take care of yourselves and reflect— it’s vital.”

Reinhart shared with Refinery29 that she has also channeled some of her feelings into her new book, “Swimming Lessons: Poems,” which is due out September 29.

“I’ve made a point to make this time in my life, this pandemic, this quarantine helpful for me in some way,” she said. “I very much have looked inward and really worked on myself and I can feel myself having grown a lot. Even just the way I’m thinking is different and I’m less judgmental and I’m more open to meeting new people. I’ve gone out of my way to try to better myself as a human being.”
