Ireland Baldwin marked six years of being “anorexia and bulimia” free on Saturday, commemorating the moment on Instagram.

“Today is the 15th of August and today marks six years that I have been free of anorexia and bulimia and all of my other food compulsion and eating disorders that I struggled through for many years,” the 24-year-old daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger said in the video.

Baldwin then told her followers — who may also be struggling — that, “you can do it,” before closing out with a kiss to the camera.

In 2018, Baldwin opened up about her past battle with anorexia, noting it took her “a long time to find self love and acceptance!”

“Trust me, all of that pain and destruction I inflicted on myself wasn’t worth it. Turning down so. Many. Sides. Of. Fries. Wasn’t worth it!!” she posted to he Instagarm story at the time.

Baldwin also detailed the depth of her struggles, telling followers she “would eat a meal or more like a bite and have to run to the nearest bathroom or find digestive pills or run until I couldn’t feel my legs right before bed.”

“I used to read people’s comments when I first started modeling and anytime anyone told me I was too tall or too fat to have done a job, I would run on a treadmill for the entire duration of at least three episodes of Friday Night Lights that I had on box set,” she continued.

According to NEDA, the National Eating Disorders Association, “at any given point in time between 0.3-0.4% of young women and 0.1% of young men will suffer from anorexia nervosa,” per statistics.

In response to Baldwin’s post from Saturday, several fans and followers offered messages of support.

“YES! Love you!” Hailey Baldwin commented.

“Go girl!!” comedian Heather McMahan replied.
